The Geospatial Technology and Engineering Center is a leading institution dedicated to providing innovative solutions in geospatial technology, engineering, and environmental sciences. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Volunteer Architect and Urban Planner to join our team.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Volunteer Architect and Urban Planner with experience in architectural design and urban planning to support our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design and develop sustainable urban solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Design and develop architectural and urban planning projects
•⁠ ⁠Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies using GPS and GIS software
•⁠ ⁠Create detailed architectural designs and models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with team members to develop project proposals and reports
•⁠ ⁠Analyze and interpret geospatial data to inform urban planning decisions
•⁠ ⁠Perform other architectural and urban planning tasks as required

Requirements:
•⁠ ⁠HND in Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field with 3 years of experience
•⁠ ⁠BSc in Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field with 1 year of experience
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge and skills in:
– Architectural design and urban planning principles
– GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
– GPS technology
– Architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Archicad etc)
•⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills
