The Geospatial Technology and Engineering Center is a leading institution dedicated to providing innovative solutions in geospatial technology, engineering, and environmental sciences. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Volunteer GIS and Surveyor to join our team.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Volunteer GIS and Surveyor with experience in survey and GIS to support our geospatial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to collect, analyze, and visualize geospatial data, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Conduct surveys using GPS, DGPS, and other surveying equipment
•⁠ ⁠Collect and analyze geospatial data using GIS software (ArcGIS and QGIS)
•⁠ ⁠Create maps, visualizations, and reports to inform project decisions
•⁠ ⁠Utilize survey and architectural software for data analysis and visualization
•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with team members to develop project proposals and reports
•⁠ ⁠Perform other GIS and surveying tasks as required

Requirements:
•⁠ ⁠HND in Surveying, GIS, Geomatics, Architecture, or related field with 3 years of experience
•⁠ ⁠BSc in Surveying, GIS, Geomatics, Architecture, or related field with 1 year of experience
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge and skills in:
– Surveying principles and techniques
– GIS software (ArcGIS and QGIS)
– GPS and DGPS equipment
– Survey and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit)
•⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills
