The Geospatial Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC) is a leading institution dedicated to providing innovative solutions in geospatial technology, engineering, and environmental sciences. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Volunteer Water Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Volunteer Water Engineer with expertise in water detection and testing equipment to support our water-related projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to carryout water related detection and quality testing, participate in the design, implement, and monitor water projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Detect and analyse ground water for drilling.
• Perform water quality test and analyse results.
• Design, implement, and monitor water projects, including water detection and testing
• Operate and maintain water detection and testing equipment
• Analyze data and provide insights to inform project decisions
• Collaborate with team members to develop project reports and proposals
• Perform other water engineering tasks as required
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline with 1 year or more of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline with 2 years or more of experience
• HND in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline with 4 years or more of experience
• Strong knowledge and skills in water detection and testing equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
